"We spent a total of 12 nights in Spain (4 different cities) plus 3 nights in Paris and unfortunately I had to admit this hotel was way below my expectations especially for a 3 stars hotel and the rate." (99369452)

    Location within the city...

They made us pay in advance for the 4 nights we were staying. (never seen anything like this during our stay in Europe) We were asked to leave a deposit in order to use the TV remote control? The bathroom had a rusted piece of metal right inside the bathtub area...

"Lovely hotel, with staff speaking very good English & very helpful. Our 'triple room' was a twin with an extra bed and space was limited. Room had air con - although would have liked to have lower temps available! Breakfast, (though not included in our booking) was a very good buffet. Location was great - not too far from Universitat (where the city tour buses pick up), and Las Ramblas(15-20 min walk), but far enough away to not be too noisy. It may be helpful to know that there were some prostitutes and gay couples in the vicinity of the hotel, but they were no bother. A very enjoyable stay." (97526891)

    Location, helpful staff, good-sized bathroom.

Room a bit on small side for three people, not much storage.

"Our overall stay at the Rhonda Hotel was not pleasant due to sleepless nights with people shouting, talking and running up and down the stairs etc. Also my business partner and i realized that the Rhonda Hotel is situated in a red light area with prostitutes walking up and down the streets on a daily and night basis.I would sincerely not recommend this hotel at all as my business partner and i were not happy with overall stay." (99515820)

The Rhonda Hotel was perfectly located to the centre of Barcelona as Le Ramblas is only 5 mins walk away. The staff were extrememly pleasant and very helpful indeed.

Unfortunately the walls of the hotel are extremely thin and you can hear everything that goes on with people talking and running up and down the stairs etc until early hours in the morning. So expect sleepless nights in this hotel as my business partner and i experienced this and was not happy at all.

The room was large and the stuff service was efficient

No cooling aircondition, poor bathroom ventillation, just one elevator servicing 6 floors, poor neigborhood.
